i had a Bad Day.

today's Physics practical drove me crazy and almost killed me. so many things to do, so little time. and my values and readings and graph had to sabotage me. took more than1.5 hours to finish! thanks for all those who helped and waited for me, once again.

training. all was fine until the trial run.

i did something that a relay runner SHOULD NEVER EVER DO. sighs. i'm sorry. i know this doesn't help but argh. it's just so shitty.. it's like the sky has fallen.. it's like the world's crumbling down. goodness, it better not happen during Nationals or i won't ever forgive myself. train hard, train hard.

and tomorrow's CL Oral, good luck, jade.

and so it's the 3rd day into first week of Term3.

well, school has been fine so far i guess. just the fact that i LOST MY WAY many times. the campus is just complicated mann. oh yes and JuzB came to school to perform! they were superb!! when they sang Qing Fei De Yi ( the first song ) i almost teared. my favourite song! and they made it.. just touching. a totally different style from the original artiste but was wonderful!! jiayou (:

oh drats, CL oral on friday. jiayou everyone! must talk and talk and talk!

Coach asked us to take a break from jumping and i'm so sad because i miss the pit so much. well, not the school one though. will be concentrating on 4x100m. i hope i won't screw it up on that day. will be training in school tomorrow, but there are still humps on the track. hmmm.

wa hai. next time i should just do what he says.

today's second last day of June holidays. looking back, it's as if i've accomplished nothing. daily routine is just eat, homework, (training), online, tv, homework, sleep. so sad. haha homework is.. i would rather have no holidays.

time flies! it's gonna be schooldays all over again. new school, new teachers. wow. well, actually a change of environment may be good? get to know more teachers.. etc. but i'm almost sure that at the end of the day, those two previous teachers would only appear even more significant to me and my life.

just hope that everything will be fine.

today's a bad bad day. it's no wonder why i'm listening to 'Bad Day' now. haha. but the song's nice. very nice. ironic huh.

went to school in the morning. we were late and so were many others. despite that, Ms Ek said we were quite punctual. well, with the rain.. i suppose so?

was greeted by the whole hall of students standing getting ready for National Anthem. we ( Fann, Emily Ningxin and i ) quickly found our classes and join in the line. after taking the Pledge, i received news that totally shocked me.

they gave out the timetables for next week. i forgot who, was just reading it in front of me when she told me that MDM GUO WON'T BE TEACHING US NEXT SEMESTER.

like WHAT THE EARTH?? it came like a bolt from the blue. HEY I DIDN'T EXPECT IT. NOT AT ALL. i've always thought that she would be the teacher other than Mrs Lee and Ms Yew teaching us for whole 2 years! argh.

i've lost Ms Chan and now, my favourite and most-respected teacher Mdm Guo? the former is the second best teacher i had in RV and the latter, the best. what's more, Mdm Guo had been teaching me since sec1. third year already! now come and tell me she's not teaching!

first it was shock. then anger. then sadness.

Mdm Guo was the teacher who inspired and motivated me to do well ( though my Chinese very lousy ) in the subject/language. it was also because of her that i looked forward to Chinese lessons and be really passionate about the subject.

ARGH.

later that day she told me it was because she was teaching part-time from now. so she only teaches sec4 classes.
she told me next year there might be a chance. PLEASE LET HER BE MY TEACHER NEXT YEAR!

still remember last year when i failed my Chinese composition, she gave me a bookmark as a form of encouragement. whoa i was really grateful and tears just rolled down. was in class having lesson then. tried so much to hide my face but she still saw me crying. haha.

sighs. never mind. i'll still see her in school. ):

yay today's training starts at 2!! can't wait can't wait to be at the sand pit.

Gombak sand here i come!! haha.. planning to arrive there early before training to jump.

the previous training proved it so. before jumping, i was really sick. giddy spells, nauseous, feverish.. but when it came to jumping, i was 80% well! i could sprint, laugh, joke blablabla.. if anyone were to ask Chuanmin i think she would be able to tell the difference too.

but unfortunately, we can't do Long Jumps anywhere and anytime. the only places i know with pits are stadiums. sighs. haha will the government do something?? ok i'm thinking too much.

was feeling feverish and nauseous since last night.

this morning went to the 'new' school campus at previous SAJC. well, the place is nice just that there are too many blocks and the routes are complicated. i almost lost my way there. spent the morning with Emilee doing Physics.

sad to say, for a food-lover like me, i actually felt like throwing up whenever somebody ate near me. it was torturous. for the whole day up to 7pm tonight, what i had in my stomach were 2 hotdogs, a little fruits and pieces of sour plum. hungry, but no appetite. sighs. but finally i managed to finish half a packet of Nasi Lemak for dinner before i felt nauseous again.

training! i didn't do much. skipped running steps, baton acceleration and drills. whoa i was so slack! slept while they did drills because i had giddy spells.

overall my day was dull until Chuanmin and i started jumping (: i've waited for more than 24 hours for training to come. jumps jumps jumps. love jumping loads. argh have to wait for another 42 hours before i can start jumping again ):

jumping.. haha now i understand why my dear cousin always has Basketball in his mind. he once told me that two years ago when he was in Primary 6, during one of the maths exams, in the midst of answering questions he would suddenly stop and think about Basketball.for a few minutes before realising he was wasting his precious time. now the same thing is happening to me. even when i go to bed, i'll think of jumping until i doze off naturally. i used to call him 'siao' but now i've become like that as well. haha.

i can't wait for the next training!!!

Chuanmin loves me because 1) i'm her jumping partner. 2) i mention her in many of my posts. HAHA.

just came back from my cousin's wedding dinner..

wow it's amazing how time flies and how fate works. can still remember how both of them met a few years ago when i was still a little girl.

we all went to another cousin's chalet to which she invited her friends and us ( the groom and i )-- her cousins. among her friends, there was this girl who was still unattached and single. coincidentally, the guy ( my cousin ) was single too. so they were teased by the friends and they tried bringing both of them together. of course, at that time it meant as a joke.

but but but. little did we expect that, after a few weeks, they were officially going steady.

and so finally today, 14th June 2006, they got married. i hereby wish them a blissful marriage and erhem. you know what i mean. the chinese saying " zao sheng gui zi ". haha. it's always heartwarming to see newly weds who are going to spend the rest of their lives with their beloved one. hand in hand.. two hearts beating as one.

the most wonderful thing is that the guy was the girl's first love and vice versa. (:

another happy ending somewhat like that of a fairytale. yay (:

firstly.. I STILL LOVE STORM AND HER WHITE EYES!

haha ok. hmm. this morning was spent at the MacDonald's near Westmall doing homework. haha. then i went off for training. took the train from BukitBatok station. there was this girl whose heels somehow got stuck when she tried getting into the train ( i was just standing behind her ). so i waited for her to get it out so i could board it too. well, by the time she did it, the door closed. how dumb can i get? i could have just went in through another door!

yay finally Coach is back! i missed him so much. he came back with a lot more knowledge which means he became stricter with our exercises. yeah. but i'm so glad he returned.

i guess today's workout for everyone else except Chuanmin, Naisheng and i was tough. but congratulations! you people survived it.

oh yes, i tripped over a step. got blue-black. it bled. my knee's hurting. but it was so funny! i kept laughing for the next 20 minutes and Chuanmin had to bear with it. i'm so sorry and thankful. well.. i'm perhaps the only person who would laugh at myself when i fall. (: next time anyone see me fall, just laugh all you want if you find it funny! cos i'll laugh along with you. laughter's the best medicine! (:

erm. today's jump was great! Chuanmin and i showed some improvement. jiayou partner! you can do it! i just love jumping with her. (: Naisheng was there to join us too! goodness, just a light takeoff and he can reach 4m ( which Chuanmin and i took months to reach it ). whoa. he's great man. work all the way to 6m!

and.. here i am typing this with an orhh-cairre knee. ouch. haha.

and so yesterday's training didn't turn out the way i wanted it to be. can still vividly recall ( though it's only 2-3 days ago ) how much i was looking forward to the session. those SMS-es which i sent to Chuanmin telling her how much i had missed the Jumps. the disappoinment was..

it was raining slightly ( the only consolation ). walked briskly to the sand pit in high spirits despite the imperfect weather to jump. lifted the cover and was relieved that the sand was still in an 'okay condition'. proceeded on to taking my foot placings. the thought of being able to sink my spikes into the Gombak sand ( as Chuanmin and i call it ) was like wow. after walking 73 steps, i was all ready to do a warm-up jump when, i saw this group of Gombak people occupying the pit. they have this course which teaches freshmen to do Javelin. i had no idea why they needed to come over though.

was wondering if i should be angry with them because afterall, the place is theirs, or should i laugh along with whoever that reigns supreme up there after he had played a joke on me. so dejectedly, i went to the second and only other existing pit in the stadium. to my horror, the area was infested with black short hairy caterpillars. blame it on my cowardice, i couldn't stay there any longer. hence i joined the rest for the sprints instead.

it may seem like a small matter to most and would wonder why am i so depressed over it. well, no doubt about that. there is always another training session. sighs. i guess it's just me. was deprived of something which i'm truly and extremely passionate about for a week. the disappoinment is hard to imagine eh.

oops sorry for this post. if anyone has successfully read till this line, congrats! you've survived the most boring post ever. haha. sorry to all. ( if there's even anyone reading that is )

i hope history won't repeat itself tomorrow.

haha today's flagday was kinda screwed up.

we were told to report to Jurong East MRT at 8, but the teachers and organisers were late. somebody called Mdm Guo and she told us to head towards BoonLay MRT. after that, to everyone's horror, there were only 42 cans. the rest had to go to Orchard to collect theirs! sighs. naturally everyone was pissed off by that. so i called Mdm Guo, and she said that the choice lies in us, whether or not we wanna do flagday because it really wasn't our fault. guess it wasn't her fault too. so yeah, my class girls and i went to MacDonald's for breakfast.

halfway through breakfast, Elizabeth called Ningxin. they were gonna transport the tins from Orchard to Jurong Point! haha. people were even more pissed. and still, we got to choose whether or not to do it. they didn't want to.. so tada! we ended up standing outside the cinema deciding on which show to watch. haha. they watched " We Are Family " eh? not sure if it's the correct title but it's the chinese movie. i couldn't join them due to some reasons so i went ahead with flagday with Kheng Hwee, Kaka and Chenghui.

it was fun!! love flagday loads. this time my tin was heavier and i felt a great sense of achievement. though it wasn't full, i was quite satisfied with my effort. haha.

hoooooray tomorrow's training!

so.. i'm back from Malaysia!!

haha well. bet nobody missed me but I MISSED EVERYONE TERRIBLY! honestly.. i missed you guys way way more than i had fun. i'm just so glad that i'm back.

well, didn't really do much there except for two indoor roller coaster rides. it wasn't as fun as i went a few years back because this time round those who went with me were either too young or old.. not to mention that my poor little sis fell ill there. so yeah, Singapore is still the best haha.

the first thing i did when i reached home was to check my phone for missed calls and messages.. seems like a lot has happened during these few days. it was great to hear, or rather 'see' from my friends again. though i wasn't away for long, it felt as if i was gone for ages.

the urge to run and jump is almost overwhelming.. missed training today sighs. oh yes and Coach is overseas. take care Coach! gosh i sure do miss him a lot! he'll only be back next week, i heard. what's training without him?! one less motivation. ): come back soon!!

Chuanmin please take care! don't let the flu bug you for long.. hope to see you on thursday.

flagday tomorrow. i'm gonna try my best and ASK for donations. i shall not repeat the same mistake and wait there till the last hour before asking around. please give me luck.. hahaha.
