take care people. (:
to do or not to do,
with regrets or without.
"it's OG22!"
haha. so Orientation's over. LOST! (:
hmm. from everyone's MSN nicks.. it seems like my friends like their OGs a lot, regardless of what college they're in now. well, that's great!
haha because i love mine too.
but then again, that doesn't mean i click very well with the people. haha i guess for me, it's gonna take quite some time before i blend into a new environment, with new friends, forming a whole new family. i miss those rocking members a lot though! very friendly. we've got very outgoing girls and very gentlemanly guys. haha (:
OG22 we are! led by a fantastic OGL named Shaun yay!
hmm. shan't elaborate on the most of the activities cos that's gonna take ages to end haha.
till now, i'm still quite shy in my OG whereas 9/10 of them are already like buddies to each other already haha. man, really useless right. luckily i had Zixi with me right on the very first day, or else i would have just died in SA. really.
nonetheless, it's still fun to have them around because there's always some joke to be shared and then we'll all laugh till our sides hurt.
we weren't really bonded at first but i guess as time went by, with the games and all the cheering.. we gotta know one another better--even went out for supper and shared cab home. surprisingly, within such a short timeframe, OG22 seems to have built a strong "one for all, all for one" spirit. i think that's really heartwarming.
on the second day, after the Flood ended, OG21 & 22 had to go out to shop for the stuff for the Identity. i couldn't go because of my curfew.. so with the little time i had left, i went onto the track for a run behind Peishi. meanwhile, my OG stayed back to wait for Shaun to finish his OGLs meeting before leaving for Chinatown.
haha i wouldn't even have dreamt that my OG members would cheer me on when i ran past them yo. i was still really really paiseh when i was approaching them and didn't dare to make eye contact..
until they clapped and yelled "jiayou! jiayou!", and Jethro said something i couldn't make out.
oh man, i've gotta say that i was really touched. thanks so much people.
hmm. and the OGLs of Nahane! (a tribe that OGs 21-27 belonged to). think they really tried very hard to get all of us to cheer. so much so that they had sore throats but still continued to yell and scream. haha and we won the Best Cheer. heh heh. really sorry to them, for being so unenthusiastic at first.. must have been hard on them man. hopefully we haven't let them down eventually! they said Jerico's (the tribal head) voice was really sexy because it turned super hoarse. haha. so.. a very BIG THANK YOU to all OGLs of Nahane! (:
aww ): so sad. the Finale night is over. but good thing we'll still be together as an OG because the classes are not out yet. i hope Shaun stays with us! but he said he'll be busy with academics. afterall, it's gonna be his As this year. hmm.
well, as much as i don't really dare take initiative to mingle with people, i enjoyed the activities and the company of OG22/Nahane a lot. Kudos to the 30th Council! for coming up with the interesting program, closely linked to the theme: LOST!
haha hopefully we have more OG outings and that Shaun could join us!
so it's lectures on monday.. haha
have fun, everyone! and take care of yourselves :D
we do not remember days; we remember moments..
