first thing first. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOANNA! ( doubt she'll ever get to read this but.. ) haha.

yesterday, marked the end of the WorldCup.

yesterday, also marked the end of my participation in the 47th National Schools Track and Field.

for once, i didn't cry nor did i blame myself.. because i knew i've done my best. 4x100m relay, it was already more than satisfying to qualify into the semis. like i said, i couldn't ask for anything more. i was truly touched and could sense the happiness in Fann and Peishi as " i'm a happy girl " went on their MSN nicks. the four of us put up a good fight in the semis. although we couldn't proceed on to the final round, i was proud of the team. well done ladies, let's come back next year.

long jump. it came as a surprise when we were told that 4.3m is the qualifying distance for Bgirls. nonetheless i put in my best effort and managed to stay close to the target. i'm sure Chuanmin gave all she had too. don't worry partner, we have another whole year to train. read your blog and you were kinda disappointed, please don't. look ahead, and strive for what you want yeah. you told me what you are aiming for, and i have absolute faith in you. believe.

and so.. to me it ended quite beautifully haha.

i guess i can't make it to the others' races tomorrow, but everyone jiayou ok? whenever your race is..

a footnote: was Zidane's end to his soccer career beautiful, or disgraceful ( with that head butt ) ?
