just one or two days ago while walking down to the canteen during recess..

Ningxin: eh are you hungry?
me: erm.. ya
Ningxin: are you very hungry?
me: huh ehh okay la
Ningxin: very very hungry or very little bit hungry?
me: ?!!??!?!?!??!

one or two hours after school today.. ( names are censored to protect the identity of people involved)

person A: hey, your house got pad not? ( haha guys, if any, you may wanna skip this part )
person B: oh. don't have..
-person A expecting to hear something like " used finish le never buy " but then..
person B: my pet die already.

person A: AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!

oh man that's so interesting.. moral of the story: mind your pronounciations when you speak English. muahahha.
