Ahh.. so it was the end of the 48th National Schools’ Track and Field Championships 2oo7..

I must say that this year has been quite a fruitful one for the Team, will various divisions and events chiong-ing into the Semis and Finals.

Well done Carrots, you’ve done yourselves and others proud.

Today at the 4x400m finals, I was given a chance to run because Kexin’s away at OBS. Really sorry people, for pulling the gap further apart during my run. Guilt aside, I’m really really thankful to you all for not blaming me. and also, the opportunity to run today was more than a miracle that has happened to me. never did I dream that I would still be able to watch Peishi run right in front of me, receive the baton from Amanda, and then passing it on to Joanna. Thank you so much for the chance. Though I know Kexin would have done a much much better job than i.

After dinner Ms Or gave us a lift home. Very grateful to her. She’s one of the few teachers whom I’ve met to be so dedicated to her students and CCA. You rock teacher. I can never thank you enough.

Was the first one to alight. I went home with this empty feeling- just like the day 2G spent our last day together as a class.

Nationals is over. Poof, gone just like that. Today was the last official race that the sec4s are gonna take part together, as Carrots. The sec4s are gonna step down very soon. Man.

It’s over.

These 4 years spent in Athletics have really taught me a lot. From a girl who knows nuts about anything, to one that has learnt how to care for others, to work as a team.. it’s just like a second family. the seniors have certainly left behind their legacy.. and I hope we this batch of sec4s are also able to leave ours behind.. for our beloved juniors to look up to. Thank you juniors for your utmost support, for never failing to motivate me to go on. Thanks for being so sweet and encouraging. In you guys and girls I see the perseverance that will definitely bring you all to great heights in time to come.

Fe12, you’re the bestest girls’ team that I can ever ask for. Amanda Chrislyn Chuanmin Emily Fann ,jade Janice Joanna Karen Leena Ningxin Peishi- everyone of you has made a difference in my life in a way or another.. I don’t know when we can all run together in an official race again, but I know one thing for sure that you’ll never be replaced.

I can’t imagine life without them. And the sec4 guys. And the juniors.
